Samantha has been working in the claims segment of the surety industry since 1988 and she joined Roanoke in 2004 as Claims Department Manager Currently, she assumes responsibility for the all claims services for multiple sureties and various lines including customs bonds, NVOCC, BMC, FMC and Carnet bonds. In addition to overseeing the claims team, Samantha’s responsibilities include working closely with outside counsel on the best methods for fulfilling our obligations under the surety bond. Samantha’s efforts serve to minimize losses paid on claims, which benefits our clients by helping to effectively manage their claims ratios. Samantha has earned her Executive Juris Doctorate in Law and Technology through Concord Law School, and has also earned degrees in Criminal Justice, Paralegal Studies and International Trade.
